➡️ Email Ports & SMTP Traffic Policy

To protect our network and comply with industry regulations, email-related ports are blocked across all Rayobyte proxy services.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Port 25 (SMTP)
  • Port 465 (SMTPS)
  • Port 587 (SMTP submission)

These restrictions are in place to prevent proxies from being misused for spam, phishing, or unauthorized email delivery, which can result in blacklisting and service disruption.

➡️ Can I Access Email Using Rayobyte Proxies?

Yes — but with limitations.

  • ✔ You can access web-based email platforms such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Outlook Web through a browser
  • ✖ You cannot use Rayobyte proxies with desktop or mobile email clients (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail)
  • ✖ Sending or receiving email via SMTP is not supported

In short, Rayobyte proxies support webmail browsing, but not email transmission.

➡️ Microsoft Services & Outlook Access

Some Microsoft services apply additional restrictions to traffic originating from proxy networks.

Due to repeated abuse reports tied to proxy usage against Microsoft-owned services (particularly Outlook and related endpoints), access limitations may apply when using Rayobyte proxies.

➡️ Why These Restrictions Exist

  • ✔ Prevents large-scale spam abuse
  • ✔ Protects IP reputation and network stability
  • ✔ Ensures compliance with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy

Allowing SMTP traffic through proxies would place the entire network at risk of blacklisting, which would negatively impact all customers.
