Proxies provide a valuable layer of security for your computer. They can be set up as web filters or firewalls, protecting your computer from internet threats, thus, it’s very important that you authorize them properly.


Unlike the other proxies, our Rotating Residential can only be authorized through Username/Password.


Instructions: Please login to https://dashboard.residential.rayobyte.com/user-area/ using the dashboard Login and Password that was given to you.

Using a Chrome Browser


  1. Open Chrome, click on the ellipsis (3 dots) in the upper right corner of your browser and choose 'Settings'

 

  1. Click on System and select 'Open your computer's proxy settings'

 



  1. Turn on ‘Automatic proxy setup’ and ‘Manual proxy setup’. Enter proxy server information shared in the dashboard. Then, click Save.


  1. Whenever you open a new website, you have to fill in the Username and Password that were given to you. Voila! You should now be able to connect to the internet.


Using a Firefox Browser


  1. Open Firefox, and click on the hamburger icon (aka 3-bar menu) in the upper right corner and select 'Settings'

  2. Scroll to bottom of Settings page, and select 'Network Settings'

  1. Select the 'Manual proxy configuration bubble'. Type in the proxy and port. Be sure to check the box as shown so it applies to FTP and HTTPS as well! Then, click OK.


  1. Whenever you open a new website, you have to fill in the Username and Password that were given to you. Voila! You should now be able to connect to the internet.
