➡️ Why Proxies Sometimes Stop Working

For configuration-related issues, we recommend reviewing these guides first:

Proxies may stop working for reasons that are outside of Rayobyte’s control. Most commonly, this happens when a target website blocks or flags an IP due to usage patterns, automation, scraping activity, or shared reputation.

  • ✔ Target websites may block an IP after repeated requests
  • ✔ Some platforms aggressively filter known proxy traffic
  • ✔ Shared or public reputation can change over time

If your proxy is configured correctly but can no longer access a specific site, replacing the IP is often the fastest and most effective solution.

➡️ How Proxy Replacements Work

Rayobyte provides complimentary proxy replacement credits with eligible proxy services. These credits allow you to replace a proxy IP that has been blocked, banned, or is no longer suitable for your use case.

Replacements are processed directly from your Proxy Dashboard, and a new proxy IP is assigned automatically once the replacement is submitted.

➡️ Replacement Credits Explained

  • ✔ Each proxy in your package includes one replacement credit per billing cycle.
  • ✔ Example: If you purchase 10 proxies, you receive 10 replacement credits.
  • ✔ Each replacement uses one credit.
  • ✔ Credits reset automatically at the start of the next billing cycle.

Replacement credits cannot be replenished manually, so we recommend using them only when a proxy is genuinely unusable.

➡️ How to Replace a Proxy

To replace a proxy IP:

  • ✔ Log in to your Proxy Dashboard
  • ✔ Navigate to the “Proxy Replacements” section
  • ✔ Select the proxy IP you want to replace
  • ✔ Submit the replacement request

For full step-by-step instructions, please refer to the dedicated guide: How Do I Replace Proxies?

Note: Once replaced, the original proxy IP cannot be restored.
