➡️ Using Proxies on Multiple Computers
Rayobyte allows proxies to be used across multiple devices or servers, as long as the correct authorization method is configured for your proxy type.
✔ Authorization Basics
Before using your proxies on another computer, VPS, or server, you must ensure that the device is properly authorized in your proxy dashboard.
- ✔ IP Authorization: Add the public IP address of each device that needs access.
- ✔ Username/Password Authorization: Use the provided credentials instead of IP-based access.
Full step-by-step instructions are available here: How Do I Authorize My Proxies?
✔ Authorization by Proxy Type
- Static Proxies (Dedicated, ISP, Semi-Dedicated, Semi-ISP)
- ✔ Support IP authorization and username/password
- ✔ Multiple devices are supported once authorized
- Port-Based Rotating Proxies (Legacy)
- ✔ Support IP authorization only
- ✔ Each authorized IP can access the rotating tunnel
- Rotating DC, Rotating ISP, Residential Proxies, Web Unblocker
- ✔ Use username/password authorization by default
- ✔ IP authorization may be supported on Residential proxies
- ✔ Designed for multi-device and multi-session usage
Note: If your local IP address is dynamic (changes frequently), we recommend using username/password authorization whenever available.
