Setting up your Rayobyte Rotating Datacenter Proxies? This article covers the basics and points you to the latest Rayobyte Docs for connection and configuration details.

➡️ Rotating Datacenter Proxy Setup

Where can I find my Rotating Datacenter Proxy credentials?

Your Rotating Datacenter connection details are available in your Rayobyte dashboard. Use the host, port, username, and password provided under your Rotating DC Proxy Access details.

How do I set up my Rotating Datacenter Proxies?

Current setup and configuration instructions are maintained in our Rotating DC Proxy Docs.

The Docs cover connection details, targeting, sessions, and other supported configuration options. We recommend referring to the Docs rather than older connection examples, since proxy configuration may change as the service evolves.

➡️ Features & Targeting

What targeting options are available with Rotating Datacenter Proxies?

Rotating Datacenter Proxies support country-level targeting. More granular targeting options available with Residential Proxies, such as state, city, ZIP code, ASN, device OS, and IP version, aren't currently available with Rotating Datacenter.

For current targeting details, see the Proxy Targeting documentation.

Can I use sticky sessions with Rotating Datacenter Proxies?

Yes. Rotating Datacenter Proxies support both rotating and sticky sessions.

For current session configuration options and examples, see the Sessions documentation.

Does Rotating Datacenter support SOCKS5?

No. Rotating Datacenter Proxies currently support HTTP and HTTPS connections. SOCKS5 and UDP-based protocol support are available with Residential Proxies.

➡️ Troubleshooting

What should I do if my Rotating Datacenter Proxies aren't connecting?

First, confirm that you're using the current connection details shown in your Rayobyte dashboard and that your account has available Rotating Datacenter bandwidth.

If you're using targeting or session parameters, try a basic connection first. Once the base connection works, add your configuration options back one at a time to help identify where the issue occurs.

If you're receiving a specific proxy error, check the Proxy Errors documentation for current troubleshooting guidance.

Why am I being blocked by a website?

Rotating Datacenter IPs come from datacenter ranges, so some websites may identify or restrict them more readily than Residential or ISP-based proxies.

If your connection works normally but a particular website consistently blocks the requests, a different proxy type may be better suited to that target.
